I’m so excited to finally be done editing Alex & Wayne Jensen’s wedding so that I can share it with all of you!!!  This was such a fun wedding to be a part of and my assistant Ande did the most amazing job keeping me sane throughout the 13 hour day.  Both the wedding and reception were held at the infamous and equally gorgeous Ashland Springs Hotel.  It’s historical charm and vintage sense of luxury provided so many amazing backdrops for this New Year’s Eve wedding.

Alex and her bridesmaids spent most of the afternoon getting ready in the Palm Room which had the most amazing light.  I rearranged the furniture and had a little impromptu boudoir-ish shoot with Alex and her bridesmaids.  The photos in that setup are some of my favorite from the day.

Ashland Springs has this beautiful fireplace as you enter the lobby and it’s glow added an incredible ambiance to the photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen.  The gorgeous floral designs by Penny & Lulu were some of the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen.  Blankets and patio heaters were provided for the wedding guests in the English Garden and as the ceremony started the wind kicked up and created a stunning, albeit chilly ceremony.  Alex and Wayne wrote their own touching vows and both laughed and cried before being announced man and wife.

DJ Gemini hosted the reception which was full of surprises including a cereal bar and milk and cookies after the 2016 New Year’s Eve countdown.  Mrs. Card’s Cakes created a stunning tiered cake inspired by popping open a bottle of champagne.
