2021 Recap

2021 was a trip…literally. I spent the year driving over 10,000 miles to and from shoots and while that might sound like hell to some people, it was a windows-down breath of fresh air for me. I’ve always been a traveler and I have a hard time staying in one place for too long, so the unwelcome Coronavirus pandemic threatening my ability to explore left me feeling a bit claustrophobic. Those long road trips to shoots hundreds of miles away were my escape over the past year. I really felt blessed to be doing something I love while exploring new cities and focusing *camera pun* on my skills. Some days, the workload felt like a lot and some days, I really didn’t want to wake up at 3am to make the long drive out to a home build in the woods; but I look back now and feel accomplished and proud of my journey as a photographer. I’m really looking forward to what 2022 has to offer and am (rather stupidly) crossing my fingers for 20,000 miles of memories this year because I love a good challenge. 😅 I hope the same for you…a year even better than the (hopefully) great one you’ve just had. Take a little trip through my 2021 in photos and God bless!
