What should I do to prepare myself or my clients for photos?

Great question! We’ve got a blog and preparation checklist coming soon! In the meantime, prepare your home as if your in-laws are coming over, and we’re happy to let you know what we need at the time of the shoot.

How far out are you usually booked?

We are usually booked out for real estate shoots about a week in advance, but often have random time slots we can fill within a few days or less. We also offer a rush service if you need images delivered within 24 hours of the shoot time. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you need something right away!

How many photos do I get?

We deliver up to 30 final images in two different sizes (optimized for web and optimized for printing for a total of up to 60 images) in order for you to get the most out of your MLS listing. Smaller homes may not be conducive to delivering 30 final images, however we do our best to deliver multiple angles of each room in order to fill out your listing. If you’d like more than 30 photos, we’re happy to accommodate for a small charge (please see our pricing page).

What happens if I need to cancel?

Life happens. We get it. Cancellations are free if made more than 24 hours in advance, however we charge 100% of the shoot fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled shoot time. If you just need to reschedule, we’re happy to accommodate your needs as much as we can. Reminder emails are sent out prior to your shoot date to remind you of your booking. No-shows are charged 100% of the shoot price.

What happens if the weather is bad on the scheduled shoot day?

We’re flexible! If we need to reschedule, we’re happy to do that and we recommend doing so if you can wait for a sunnier day. If you need photos right away, we offer a blue sky guarantee; so cloudy, drizzly, snowy days won’t stop us from shooting and making the sun come out in Photoshop. Please keep in mind that shoots on heavy rain days will need to be rescheduled. We can make accommodations for shooting interiors and exteriors on separate days if necessary and dependent on location.

How long does the editing process take?

We usually quote 2-3 days for editing and delivery in case we are fully booked, however most of the time we can get you photos next day or sooner. If you need your photos delivered right away, we offer a rush service that guarantees your photos delivered within 24 hours. Please visit our pricing page for more info.

What forms of payment do you take?

We prefer cash or check at the time of the shoot, but we’re happy to send a payment request if you prefer to pay with a credit or debit card.

Late payment fees?

We’re great at sending payment reminders so that this won’t happen; but if it does, we charge a 3% fee to your invoice for every day it’s late.
